MEDSPRINGS LLP ("Medsprings", "we") is a limited liability partnership registered in India, with its registered office at No. 78, Poompuhar Nagar 3rd Street, Madurai – 625 107, Tamil Nadu, India. We supply ophthalmic surgical products to hospitals, distributors, NGOs and healthcare businesses worldwide.

This policy explains how we handle your personal data when you use www.medsprings.in or contact us. Medsprings is responsible for your personal data. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, for visitors and customers in the EU/UK, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

• When you contact us or subscribe, including through our website forms, social media, trade fairs or events: your name, organisation, job title, country, email, phone or WhatsApp number, and your message.
• When you browse our site: your IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and approximate location. This is collected through cookies (see Section 6).
• From public business sources: business contact details from company websites, trade directories and professional networks, used to contact potential partners.

Our website is for healthcare businesses and professionals. Please do not send us any patient medical information.

• To reply to your enquiries and send quotations.
• To process orders, shipping, customs and invoicing.
• To send our newsletter and product updates, only if you have subscribed.
• To contact potential business partners.
• To understand how our website is used and improve it.
• To meet legal, tax and export requirements.

We use your data only for these purposes, and we never sell it.

You will receive our newsletter only if you sign up for it. You can unsubscribe anytime using the link in every email, or by writing to info@medsprings.in.

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it just as easily as you gave it. Withdrawing consent does not affect any processing done before you withdrew.

• LinkedIn Insight Tag and Meta Pixel, to measure our ads and show relevant content to business audiences.

WhatsApp chat: if you contact us through the WhatsApp button, your messages are handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy.

We share your data only when needed, with:

• our authorised distributors and business partners in your region, to respond to your enquiry or serve you locally,
• logistics providers, freight forwarders and customs brokers,

All of them may use your data only for the purpose we share it for.

We are based in India and work with customers worldwide, so your data may be stored or processed in India and other countries.

When we transfer personal data from the EU/UK to India or other countries, we use appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Transfers from India follow the restrictions notified by the Government of India.

• Enquiries: up to 2 years after our last contact.
• Order, invoice and shipping records: as long as Indian tax and export laws require, currently up to 8 years.
• Newsletter list: until you unsubscribe.

After that, we delete or anonymise your data. We protect it with reasonable security measures, and we will notify you and the authorities if a data breach affects you, as the law requires.

You can ask us to:

• show you what data we hold about you and give you a copy,
• correct, complete or update it,
• delete it,
• restrict how we use it,
• stop using it, including for marketing,
• send your data to you or another organisation in a usable format (data portability),
• withdraw your consent.
